Audio Indicator in Recorder Control Window

Can the visual audio level indicator be included as part of the Recorder Controller so that I can monitor the audio level which is being recorded?  This would also eliminate recordings where I select the wrong audio source and get no, or the wrong, audio recorded.

The Recorder main window includes audio level indicators. You wanted to see them somewhere else as well?

Yes, once the recording begins we lose the ability to view the audio level indicator.  Adding it to the Recording Controller along with the Pause and Stop button would allow us to monitor the audio level visually during the recording process.
