The first part of my recording has no sound

The sound should record consistently throughout. FlashBack will only initiate a sound source at the beginning of the recording session so you should either get sound throughout or no sound at all.
If this happens again, can you immedaitely go to the Recorder's Help menu and use the 'Report Problem to Blueberry...' option in the Support section. This will send us a set of log files that we can takea look through. When sending a report, please include your email address and a short description of the problem so we can identify which report is yours.

Hi there, the first part of my recording for about 45 seconds has no sound and then the sound kicks in. Do you know why this is happening?
