Recording specific window

FlashBack simply records the image as you see it on the screen. The Window record option is just to neatly snap a region to a desired window. It doesn't have any awareness of which windows are being produced by specific apps so if something is visible inside the recording region, that will be recorded regardless of what app it is.

I'm trying to record only ONE specific application and none of the other ones. Is there a way to do this? It seems like it would be a given but I don't see any settings for it.
Every time I try to record just one application using the, "Record window," option, it records all of the windows, even if I pull them up in front of the application that I chose. Please help!
